For a durable, yet attractive veneer, the casserole's exterior employs brushed 18/10 stainless steel. Beneath the exterior, a heavy-gauge aluminum core enables accelerated heat conduction and distribution for searing or frying. An 18/10 stainless-steel interior, the final layer, provides a nonporous cooking surface that cleans easily. The chef transports the casserole to and from by gripping the stainless-steel loop handles, riveted securely to the casserole's sides.
